JUST IN: Actress Jumoke George's Trafficked Daughter Returns from Mali After Four Years

Miss Adeola, the daughter of veteran Nigerian actress Jumoke George, has finally returned home after being trafficked to Mali and missing for four years.

Her safe return marks the end of a painful and uncertain chapter for her family, particularly her mother, who had earlier gone public with her distress over her daughter’s disappearance.

Jumoke George had recently raised the alarm over Adeola’s whereabouts, revealing in an emotional plea that she had not heard from her daughter since 2019. The story sparked concern across social media and within humanitarian circles.

The breakthrough came through the intervention of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), led by Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The Commission facilitated Adeola’s rescue and return to Nigeria, as part of its ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and support distressed Nigerians abroad.

While full details of her ordeal in Mali remain undisclosed, sources confirmed that Adeola is currently receiving care and support as she reintegrates into her family and community.

NIDCOM has reiterated its commitment to assisting trafficked and stranded Nigerians worldwide and continues to call for stronger collaboration in the fight against human trafficking.
