In a statement, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin, the Orangun of Oke-Ila, expressed gratitude for the town’s recent agricultural success, describing it as "a harvest worth celebrating."

According to the revered king, the fertile lands of Oke-Ila have yielded bumper crops of tobacco, pepper, and plantain, thanks to the relentless efforts of the community’s youth.
