The Honorable Member representing Ife Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honorable Taofeek Abimbola Ajilesoro yesterday flagged off the distribution of Classroom furnitures and learning materials to schools in the Constituency.
Delivering the materials to the first beneficiary School, the Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro in Ife North Local Government Area on Friday, the Legislative Aide to the Lawmaker, Comrade Arewa Oluwaseun in a statement said the plan of the Honorable Member is to replace the old deteriorated lockers and chairs with modern ones, noting that a number of schools in the Constituency have been selected to benefit from the gesture.
According to him, over 300 modern classroom tables, lockers, several textbooks and notebooks as well as executive furniture for the teaching staff have been provided to enhance teaching and learning in the school.
The Principal, Mr Obisakin Makanjuola and students of the school thanked the Lawmaker for the provisions, saying this is a clear indication that the Lawmaker truly has the love of youths and students in his heart.
