A 100 Level student of the Department of Agricultural Extension in the Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Bukola Akinjeji has been crowned the 2023 OAU Most Beautiful Girl.
In a keen contest involving 40 contestants, Bukola defeated 11 other finalists from a total of 100 participants, to be crowned queen at the Grand Finale which held on Saturday at the Oduduwa Hall of the institution.
As the MBGOAU overall winner, She went home with a cheque of N300,000 while the first and the second runners up in the order of MBGOAU Tourism and MBGOAU Culture got N200,000 and N100,000 respectively.
A native of Ondo State, Southwest Nigeria, Bukola is a fashion and Style Advocate who uses her craft to reach out to the less privileged in the society and support NGOs in their social and humanitarian projects.
The event with this year's being the maiden edition was sponsored by Malta Guinness and had in attendance eminent personalities and royalties including the wife of the Ooni of Ife who is also a former beauty queen, Olori Tobi Phillips Ogunwusi.
Most Beautiful Girl in OAU is organized by Forerunners Creativity and Innovation.
