The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC on Saturday conducted elections for the presidential and national assembly offices.
The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmoud Yakubu while addressing journalists and electoral observers in Abuja, said the national collation centre for the 2023 general elections shall be opened from 12 noon on Sunday.
The election which was to officially end by 2:30pm however could not end as scheduled due to reported late arrival of INEC officials in some quarters.
A total of 18 political parties participated in the elections which took place across the 774 local governments in the country.
