May Day: Ooni's Olori Afolasade Pens Inspirational Message To Celebrate Workers

As the World marks International Workers Day, wife of the Ooni of Ife, Olori Ashley Afolasade Ogunwusi on Monday offered her words of encouragement to inspire global workforce.

The revered Monarch's queen in the message made available via her social media page, described workers as creators and great assets to every nation.

Olori Ogunwusi further urged workers to embrace the value of hardwork, as this, she noted, can only guarantee success.

"Happy International Workers Day. A worker is a creator and a great asset to every nation. It is always a delight to save a day to honour and appreciate all hard working humans.

"The best way you can find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others, a nation can never shine without dignified workers who puts in everything and every effort to serve their nation. If you know how to work hard in life, then you have the formula to be very successful. I also learned the value of hard work by working hard and working very smart.

"There is no success story without hard work, success is like a pyramid. You always have to start from ground up, there always has to be a foundation before a good structure. Workers are so powerful and they are vital tools in any nation. You have a power to change the world if you have the power to work with commitments and dedication.

"To all my amiable staff both home and abroad, and to all the hard working employees in our palace that works effortlessly to ensure a safe and habitable environment for us all. I say a big thank you for all your hard work. Finally I will urge us all to love what we do and do what we love. Happy International Workers Day. Aa ri ere ise owo wa lase Olodumare Ase", She wrote.
