The Ooni of Ife, Arole Oduduwa Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II on Thursday received in audience the national secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore alongside other prominent members of the Party who came to pay a courtesy visit to the monarch at his Ile Oodua Palace.
Other members of the entourage include The Olu of Ayepe Olode, HRM Oba Yekini Olayemi Omisore, Prof A. A. Adediwura, Sooko Kemade Elugbaju, Sooko Bunmi Adegoke, Hon. Yera Elugbaju, Omilaj Akinwole, Hon. Wale Ojo, among others.
The team accompanied by top ranking Chiefs from the palace including the Obalufe of Ife, Oba Idowu Adediwura, the Sookos and the Isoros, took time to inspect a section of the palace recently gutted by fire and of which reconstruction works are already ongoing.
The Ooni lauded Senator Iyiola omisore for his love and passion for the growth of the source, Ile-Ife.
