The Salu of Edunabon, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Amb.) Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo, JP, Akinrinsa II, has been honoured with an award by the Traditional Religion Worshippers Association of Osun State (TRWASO) in recognition of his outstanding contributions, exemplary leadership and impeccable reputation.
The award, presented by the association, was described as a testament to the monarch’s commitment to the promotion, preservation and advancement of traditional religion and Yoruba cultural values.
While presenting the award, TRWASO commended the Salu of Edunabon for his remarkable contributions and the dignity with which he has continued to uphold the traditional institution.
The association also noted that his exemplary conduct and dedication to the development of his community have earned him respect within and beyond Edunabon.
Receiving the award, the Salu of Edunabon expressed his appreciation to TRWASO for the honour, describing it as an encouragement to continue supporting initiatives that promote Yoruba culture, strengthen traditional institutions and foster peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths.
He reaffirmed his commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people while contributing meaningfully to the development of Edunabon and Osun State.
