Father, Son Landed In Police Net For Allegedly Hiring Thugs To Assault School Principal In Osun

A Senior Secondary School 3, Adeyeni Adejuwon of Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife alongside his father are currently being held in the custody of the Osun State Police Command for allegedly beating up the School Principal 1, Mr Ademola Sanusi with the help of hired thugs.

According to an eyewitness report, the school boy, aged 19 had been punished on account of indicent dressing by the Principal but the story did not end there as the aftermath saw the school head suffering a reprisal beating by hoodlums suspected to have been hired by the pupil who stormed the school premises in the company of his biological father.

Spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incidence to journalists. According to her, the command received a report from the school principal alleging the assault against him leading to the arrest of the boy and his father(name withheld) while effort is ongoing at getting the fleeing members of the gang apprehended.

"One Sanusi Ademola, Principal 1 of Oduduwa Secondary School, Ile Ife, reported that while he was in the School premises, one Adeyeni Adejuwon, an SSS 3 student of the same school and his biological father invaded the school with some thugs and beat him up by giving him fist blow and tore his clothes.

"The principal was dealt with for moderately correcting the student on how to dress while in school. The student and the father were arrested and effort is on to arrest others involved", she said.
