The Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, on Friday, married new queen, Princess Ashley Afolashade Adegoke Ogunwusi.
A princess from the Lafogido ruling House of the source, Ile-Ife, Queen Ashley is a chartered accountant with a Masters Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Greenwich, and currently runs her businesses in the United Kingdom.
She currently runs an NGO, the Ashley Adegoke Foundation which focuses on the less privileged children and widows.
Olori Ashley is one of the Queens the first class monarch added to the royal court of Oduduwa recently.
The Ooni had in early September married his second wife, Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda hours after he married his first wife Queen Mariam Anako. Oba Ogunwusi also in the same month married Tobi Phillips, a former Beauty Bueen and graduate of Marine Science from the University of Lagos.
Ooni had been into a couple of relationships prior to his recent nuptial knots. In 2008, before his coronation, the renowned monarch married to Adebukola Bombata but the marriage failed.
In 2016, after being coronated, Ooni married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor but the union lasted for 17 months, paving the way for Olori Silekunola in 2018, a union that produced a son, before departed in December, 2021.
