Omisore Loses Uncle At 96 As Buhari Commisserates With Family

National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore on Sunday lost his 96-Year-Old uncle and the Arole of the Omisore family in Ile-Ife, Late Engineer Ezekiel Mosadoluwa Iyiola Omisore to the cold hand of death.

Announcing the passing on behalf of the family, the former osun state deputy governor in a statement, described late Pa Omisore as someone who lived a fulfilled life on earth.

“Our Arole Engr Chief E. I. Omisore bows out at 96. May his gentle/fatherly soul rest in perfect peace! He lived extremely well on earth Surely the heavenly saints and archangels gained a beautiful soul today!!!”, the statement read.

Similarly, Nigerian President, Major-General Muhamadu Buhari, GCFR has commisserated  with the family over the loss.

The president in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, described late Arole Omisore as a dutiful and courageous nigerian whose immense contributions significantly impacted the development of the country.

Until his death, Late Pa Ezekiel Omisore was the Arole(Head) of the Omisore dynasty, a position he assumed since 2015. He was the Gbobaniyi of Ile-Ife, the Alatunse of the Cathedral Church Of Anglican, Ile-Ife and the Asiwaju Okunrin of the Christian Association of Nigeria.

Born on the 26th day of August, 1927 in Ile-Ife to the renowned Omisore dynasty, Late Pa Arole Ezekiel Iyiola Omisore was a distinguished elder of the Yoruba Tennis Club and Past President of the Nigerian Institute of Structural Engineers.

He served under the then government of the Western Region in the Ministry of Works as the first Nigerian Structural Engineer before he left to start the Engineering section of Design Group as an Associate Partner.
