Wife of the Ooni of Ife, HRM Olori Aderonke Ademiluyi-Ogunwusi on Thursday arrived in the City of Sao Paulo for the maiden edition of the Africa Fashion Week Brazil.
Olori Aderonke who doubles as the Co-founder of the Brazilian wing of the Africa Fashion Week brand and her team of cultural ambassadors and desidesigners were received in the South American country amidst jubilation.
The foremost queen is expected to address an international press conference later at the event holding at the Expo Center Norte, Sao Paulo.
Africa Fashion Week Brazil is part of the larger Africa Fashion Week brand which houses the duo of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria and Africa Fashion Week London, both of which are also founded by the revered Queen.
The idea behind the initiative according to the Queen is to give African designers a platform to showcase their creativity to the global space while also promoting continent’s rich cultural heritage.
The event will feature designers from global fashion capitals including London, Paris, Nigeria and Ghana.
