Okunowo Similoluwa Adetoyosi from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has emerged the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, with a CGPA of 4.93.
Okunowo was presented by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Simeon Bamire at the institution's 47th Convocation Ceremony which ended on Saturday.
A total of 7,986 students were graduated with 158 attaining first-class, 1,970 with Second Class Honours (Upper Division), 2,906 with Second Class Honours (Lower Division), 942 with Third Class (Honours), and 65 graduating with a Pass.
Okunowo Similoluwa Adetoyosi hails from Ijebu East in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria.
