In a release signed by the Founder and CEO of the prestigious sports society, Hon. Adebisi Awope and obtained by Ife City Blog on Saturday, this Year's tournament, the third of its kind will hold between Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th of September, 2021 at the Ife Grand Resorts and Industrial Park, Ife/Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
According the statement, the season 3 edition of the tournament, with the theme, "Give Kids The World: Teach Them How To Play Chess And You Have Given Them The Ability To Make Important Life Decisions" is projected to be held in a more grand style just as it has secured the official approval and incorporation into the Pre-Olojo Festival Programmes by His Imperial Majesty, the Arole Oduduwa, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.
The statement further added that registrion for the Games which will be held in multiple categories including male, female and the Under 17 is slated to take off from Monday the 16th of August and continue till the very last day to the tournament, the 14th of September, 2021 with Cash Prizes and Awards to be worn.
Describing Chess as The Game of Kings and The King of Games, the statement however solicit for support, sponsorship and partnership from well-meaning members of the society, brands and corporate organisations, maintaining that the tournament should be seen as a way of sowing and contributing to the development of the community in particular and Chess as a invaluable games of the intellect in general.

RAIA ROOKS CHESS CLUB (RRCC) PRESENTS 2021 OLOJO FESTIVAL RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT SEASON 3
The Raia Rooks Chess Club(RRCC) after careful deliberation among its management team, the tournament planning and organizing committee and in liaison with the organizers of the World famous Olojo Festival, hereby announces the programme schedule for the third edition of its Annual Olojo Festival Rapid Chess Tournament.
We are excited to inform our esteemed fans, prospective participants and the entire community of sports lovers particularly Chess, The Game of Kings and The King of Games in Ife and beyond that this Year's edition of the tournament is being planned to be held in a grand style especially with the magnanimous approval and incorporation of the tournament into the Pre-Olojo Festival Events by his Imperial Majesty, The Arole Oduduwa Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife.
