Olafare in the tribute piece tilted "A DECADE WITHOUT OUR MOTHER, OLORI-AGBA WURAOLA ABEGBE OGUBWUSI OMO SOJI OPA" described the late Olori-Agba as an "angel", noting that she lived a good life full of lessons and services to her creator.

It reads, "On a day like this ten years ago, specifically April 29th, 2012, the world lost an angel; Olori-Agba Wuraola Abegbe Ogunwusi Omo Soji Opa, the biological mother of our father, the Arole Oduduwa & Ooni of Ife, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, to the world beyond after a life well spent.

"While it still hurts to realize that this great woman is no more, we thank the Almighty Olodumare that our mother lived a good life full of lessons and services to her creator.

"Even in her absence, her wisdom, which you imprinted in her children's heart, continues to flow like a spring of knowledge that leads and illuminates their path. Right from cradle, she gently laid her children's feet and that of other young people around her on the appropriate paths, leading everyone with soft loving care.

"As a leader of many women at home, Church and beyond, Mama Wuraola exhibited enviable virtues worthy of emulation and that is why she remain in our hearts till date.

"Like always, we remember you Mama oninure, Omo Soji Opa nile Ife.

Opa lo nile, Opa lo loko

Opa lo ni edena odo

Aya Ogunwusi, nile Giesi Ijana

Sunre o, Mama rere.
