Katva Empire, Organizers of the highly anticipated OAU Trade Fair Day on Sunday announced the postponement of the event.
The event earlier scheduled for April 18th and 19th, the brand said, will now hold May 2nd to 3rd, 2023 at the SUB Car Pack by 12pm.
Reason for the postponement, although not expressly stated, is believed to be connected with the recent incident on campus as students are still mourning the demise of a part 5 student.
The OAU Trade Fair Day, first of its kind, is a local marketing initiative primarily aimed at giving visibility to emerging and established brands operating on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University and Ife community in general but open to vendors across the country.
The event according to the organizers will feature Buying and Selling, Signage, Free Giveaways, Taste Experience, Branch Launching, Karaoke and much more and will also feature performances from prominent OAU celebrities and artists.
