ISD APPOINTS NIGERIAN AMBASSADOR SPECIAL ATTACHE FOR AFRICA

The International Society of Diplomats(ISD) has appointed a Nigerian, Ambassador Sowemimo Abiodun Alex as the Special Attache of the Society's Innovation, Internet and Technical Committee for Africa.

This was contained in a letter addressed to the distinguished, internationally acclaimed Nigerian Digital Innovator, Diplomat and Business Tycoon, Dated 12th of April, 2021, confirming his appointment into the respected position by the Global Emisory Council of the Society. 

Prior to his latest appointment, Ambassador Sowemimo currently presides the Africa Chamber of Innovation, Internet Governance and Digital Inclusion(IGDI).

An 'Omo Yoruba Atata' and a true son of the soil, Ambassador Sowemimo is a young promising Nigerian who has distinguished himself through a number of innovative enterprises and diplomatic archiements.

He is the Founder and CEO, iNet Telecommunications, CapitalMetriQ Swift Bank and InfoMetriQ Data Network and he is the proud Inventor of the Internet Identity Number(IIN) through InfoMetriQ Application, an innovation that has helped in curbing internet fraud and  identity theft which is a major challenge in our system. 

Sowemimo Abiodun is a multiple Award-winning internet entrepreneur, diplomat, computer programmer, domain broker, digital media applications and online reputation management expert. 

On the 17th of March, 2019, he was honored with an Award as the Most Promising Youth in Africa by the Egyptian President and Chairperson of African Union Abdel Fattah El-SiSi at the World Youth Forum.
